SWITZERLAND
FABIAN BÖSCH
Hailing from Engleberg, Switzerland, Fabian Bösch is a Slopestyle and Big Air freestyle skier for whom success arrived at a young age. At just 16, Fabian won Slopestyle gold at the 2015 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships in Kreischberg, Austria, becoming Switzerland's first men’s freestyle world-title-holder. A year later, he took top spot on the podium at the Winter X Games in Aspen, US, in the Big Air event.
While other major wins have followed, Fabian loves to spend time away from the competition slopes to build ramps, try out new tricks and train on different kinds of equipment, like the trampoline. He also likes to showcase his skills in video clips, like with the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea where he almost broke the internet when he rode up an escalator on the wrong side, dangling with incredible upper body strength as the railing brought him effortlessly to the top.
