Our commitment to protect the oceans for generations to come
We live by Jack O’Neill’s words: The ocean is alive and we’ve got to take care of it. It is O’Neill’s commitment to protect the oceans for generations to come.
We do this by constantly working on 3 main areas:
1. Make our collections as sustainable as possible.
2. Shared responsibility across our supply chain.
3. Support initiatives to take care of our playground.
O’Neill Blue is our collection containing sustainable materials. We are proud to say that 7 out of 10 of the O’Neill SS21 range consists of O’Neill Blue products - but we won’t stop there. We are dedicated to our long-term mission to get 100% of our designs to be O’Neill Blue. This goal is in our sights and we hope to achieve it by 2025.
In 1996, Jack O’Neill established the O’Neill Sea Odyssey (OSO), a ground-breaking marine and environmental education program which has recently reached the impressive benchmark of welcoming over 100,000 students.
In this report, you will find our sustainability results for 2019, in which we produced our Winter 2019/2020 and Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Included are the actions we are taking to improve our supply chain, working conditions and environmental impact as a business.
