From Oceanside, California, Caitlin “Caity” Simmers has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting surfers on tour. Known for her laid-back style, radical creativity, and progressive approach, she’s helping define a new era in women’s surfing. 

At just 15, she won the US Open of Surfing, becoming the second-youngest champion in the event’s history. After earning Rookie of the Year in 2023, Caity followed with a breakthrough 2024 season, taking wins at Pipeline, Bells Beach, and Rio before claiming the WSL World Title at only 18 years old. 

In 2025, Caity continued to perform at the highest level, with a major victory at the Surf Abu Dhabi Pro and runner-up finishes at the Margaret River Pro and Lexus Pipe Pro. Beyond competition, she expresses her passion through filmmaking, traveling, and documenting surf adventures with family and friends.
