A Costa da Caparica native, Beatriz "Bea" Carvalho transitioned from bodyboarding to surfing at a young age—naturally, with a surf instructor father. Dedicated to honing her craft, Bea proudly carried the national flag at the ISA World Surfing Games in 2019 and the Junior World Championships in El Salvador in 2022. Today, she pursues surfing professionally while actively engaging in various surf-related projects.
