Fully Taped Seams In order to make an outerwear garment waterproof, you need more than waterproof fabrics - you also need taped seams. A simple seam becomes a taped seam once waterproof taping has been carefully and firmly placed over a stitched seam. Fully taped seams means that all seams of the garment are taped.

RECCO RECCO® reflectors do not prevent avalanches or guarentee the rescue & survival of a buried person. RECCO® increases your chances of being found quickly in the event of an avalanche. The reflector is designed to reflect back the high frequency signal of detectors used in rescue searches.
Snow Gaitor The barrier between the snow and your body when you take a tumble. This piece of fabric is found at the bottom hem inside the jacket with press buttons to seal it and stop snow getting in.

GORE-TEX Madness Pants are made from 2-layer GORE-TEX® giving unparalleled waterproofing and breathability. Fully taped seams, zippers for ventilation and adjustable lower leg to fit easily over ski or boarding boots. Brushed tricot lining, a velcro adjustable, mid high waist and a RECCO® safety reflector. Seriously high spec, while retaining a stylish shape and look.
